Apple allows devs to promote app events on the App Store

As was promised to the WWDC earlier this year, Apple today began releasing Developers showcase their in-app activities on the App Store. You need iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 to view the action lists, and they work as you would expect, allowing you to watch live contests, livestreams and much more. It’s a straightforward one, but it’s the kind of thing that can motivate more people to set up and run their own software.

Hopefully, the manufacturers won’t rely on it as a spammy way to bring in an engagement. Many mobile players would like to know when to enter special drops of objects, for example. And if you are experiencing an impressive event coming up, you can also create notifications or a calendar reminder of when to start. You could also share experiences to get your friends to ride too.
