Every Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie & Series (In Chronological Order)

“T-U-R-T-L-E Power.” From the pages of comic books to the big screen, Earth’s favorite crime-fighting anthropomorphic turtles love only one thing more than ridding the world of scum: pizza. Named after famous painters from the Italian Renaissance, these four sewer-dwelling, skateboarding gents have appeared in a multitude of TV series and films over the years. But keeping track of all the TMNT movies in order can be tricky as the franchise has had over a dozen screen adaptations.

Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, and Leonardo all maintain distinct personalities, but they share the same origin story. After being exposed to a toxic mutagen underneath New York City, these normal reptiles quickly evolved into human-sized martial arts experts. With the help of their rat sensei Splinter and a journalist named April O’Neil, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles keep the universe’s evil forces at bay.

Updated on August 5th, 2022, by Shawn S. Lealos: The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles remain alive, 35 years after their first television appearance. With several TV shows and movies to their name, a brand-new animated movie will hit Netflix in 2022. This will continue the story started in the Netflix series Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, with the same voice cast returning. It will also bring back a fan-favorite villain from past movies and TV shows and continue to introduce a new generation to the classic teenage-in-a-half-shell mutant heroes that keep New York City safe. Meanwhile, it is never too late to go back and check out the past TV shows and movies, both animated and live-action, with almost all of them available on the various streaming services.
